Chevy came to us from very good friends Joanne and Laureen Kinney of Zaniri Golden Retrievers.  He is a son of my first dog Zak.  Chevy has received Zak's fabulous work ethic and drive to please.  Chevy is my shadow and where ever he is, he is always aware of where I am and trying his hardest to achieve whatever it is that I want him to do.  Chevy is a worrier and will stress about the task at hand, but, is able to work through his thoughts and complete what needs to be done.

There are so many nice qualities Chevy possesses it is hard to list them all.  Without his willingness and drive to please we would not have been able to complete the tests that we have with a style that draws attention.

In the obedience ring he is know for his leaping and spinning beside me between exercises, and then snapping back into heel position and ready for the next exercise.

At his first draft dog test he was recognized for his willingness and calm efficient behavior to complete the uphill freight haul and then switch to bracing the cart to make the corners with ease on the downhill section.

And then there is the field work.  Chevy is known for his calm steady response on line, his leaping water entries, and his wonderful natural marking ability.  When Chevy completed his MH I had an avid lab owner come up and say 'he's a dog that makes me think of going Golden'.  When Chevy completed his GMH, the judges could not stop talking about his fantastic  happy attitude.  Even on the tough water blind his tail was still wagging and he was trying hard to see and understand the picture in front of him.

Chevy's puppies are proving to be wonderful, good looking, easy dogs to live with and train.

Chevy is available to select bitches by live cover or fresh chilled semen.
